Since Google could not pack more into it’s June 2, 2021 broad core algorithm update, another core update will happen in July. Don’t worry about these two updates being so close together. Google says that most sites are unlikely to notice the impact of either core update. 

What Does the June 2, 2021 Core Update Include?

Core updates are different from other updates because core updates involve broad improvements to Google Search. They affect all languages. This means that Google core algorithm updates target search overall, as opposed to specific categories such as the update to search results for product reviews or Google’s page experience update to be rolled out mid-June.

The June 2, 2021 Google core update focuses on better meeting user expectations with better content. Therefore, this means that Google Search will change the way the system assesses content. 

What Should I Fix?

In terms of the improvements that SEO Managers, SEO Specialists, Digital Marketers, or Webmasters should take, is currently unknown. This is due to the fact that another core update is scheduled for next month. 

According to Google, often after a core update happens, there is nothing to fix.

Like all Google core updates, the objective remains constant. This refers to providing the best content you can to your users’ concerns, needs, and wants. Google Search will always try to serve the best content that matches your user’s search term.

Currently, Google has not released any hints as to what their core update in July will target.
